Sustainable cooperation with Candiani
We partner with Candiani, recognized worldwide as the greenest textile company in the denim industry. This Italian family-owned company has been known for four generations for their innovative and eco-friendly production processes. They have set the standard for sustainability in the denim world, and that aligns perfectly with our vision.
Candiani uses advanced techniques to drastically reduce water consumption. Whereas making a traditional pair of jeans requires up to 8,000 liters of water, Candiani uses only 125 liters per pair. Moreover, most of this water is reused. Waste is seen as raw material, with recycling of trimmings and dye, significantly reducing the ecological impact.

Our jeans are handmade by craftsmen in Portugal, a country known for its high-quality textile production. This is where tradition and innovation come together. The experienced artisans in our Portuguese workshops take care of every detail, from sewing to finishing each pair of jeans, with precision and care. By keeping our production in Europe, we can ensure quality and minimize transportation distances, which helps us keep our carbon footprint small.
Innovative composition
Bukser Jeans fabric is specially formulated to strike the perfect balance between comfort, durability and style. Bukser works with fabrics such as:
- Cotton: For that authentic, rugged denim look and feel.
- Lyocell: An eco-friendly fiber that is soft to the touch and provides extra breathability.
- EME (Elastomultiester): For extra elasticity and shape retention, so your jeans will always fit properly.
- Elastane: For just that extra bit of stretch and comfort.
This combination creates jeans that are not only great to wear, but also long-lasting and retain their shape, wash after wash.
